About WHITE OAK BAYOU BAND

Starting out as a local jam band, the White Oak Bayou Band is made up of local musicians who’ve been playing around Houston, SE Texas, around the USA and internationally. Rodney Merwin plays the keyboards and vocals, Dave Pivnik on guitar and vocals, Rob Knetsch on bass and Chris Brown on drums.  We play a mix of some of our favorite covers plus original music that borrows from country rock, blues and R&B.  Our shows are always good fun!!
